Social interactions during physical activity

Sports is the easiest way to start social interaction, due to the nature of sports of being in teams. Social interactions within sports affects the bonding of a team, as individuals in a team, there must be a certain amount of trust to excel. Trust amongst teammates is gained through social interaction, by understanding each other better. In these interactions, people face different challenges, these challenges are solved with the help with their comrades.

Players usually experience intrinsic and extrinsic motivations during physical activity. These motivation drives athletes to continue on their chosen sport. Intrinsic motivation stands for passion for their chosen sport in which includes a love for their sport, their relationship with coach and teammates and their ideal to be the best of the team. Extrinsic motivation stands for their high paying and high social status. Therefore, these motivations motivate them to keep doing these sports.
